We plan to return this little gem on our December cruise. We have been to many of the larger beach clubs and the state park but loved this little gem. This was a perfect day for us at a fabulous price. They had a live DJ playing smooth music to provide a more relaxed atmosphere. The pool was on the smaller side but fit the space and limited amount of guests allowed per day. They have an outdoor shower to rinse off after a dip in the ocean. The area is clean, neat, with close access to the bathrooms and outdoor wash area. I drank Margaritas and my husband had Corona beers. Later I had coconut shrimp and my husband had ceviche. We ordered nachos and we were very pleased. The space is on the small side but that made the experience more personal. We wandered the property a while and took some pictures. Also, we arrived before they opened, they graciously allowed us to rest on the loungers.
We really liked Del Mar because it is so close to the Carnival port. Our experience was so nice and relaxing due to many reasons. We were delighted to discover this charming little place. We watched a video about the Del Mar Latino Beach Club by a cruise blogger named “Sharon at Sea”. We did some research on YouTube before our January 2023 cruise. We would definitely come back again! The restroom facilites were clean as well. That day the water was a bit strong but we still very much enjoyed getting into the water. We went into the water as there is access down some stone steps but do bring water shoes would be our advice.

You cannot beat the price for the food and drinks as well as the service! Everyone was extremely professional and super nice! The exclusivity was the best part of the experience. The location itself was amazing! The food was great, the variety of options was also great. You do get approached about excursions along the way but everyone was polite when we declined but it can get a bit exhausting, on the same note we understand they are trying to make a living.
We felt safe and the walk was rather quick. We actually walked here from the port and it was a good experience. My friends and I booked a day pass for this location as our cruise ship was docked for the day.
